Ultrafuse PA filament is the result of BASF’s efforts to integrate Ultramid® into the world of 3D printing. It’s a blend of PA6 and PA66 with intermediate viscosity that offers excellent mechanical and thermal properties.
Ultrafuse PA provides greater impact and wear resistance compared to standard PA6 or PA66. It is ideal for manufacturing industrial parts in fields such as engineering, automotive, and aerospace.
Mechanical Strength: Ultrafuse PA has excellent mechanical resistance and performs well against impact, wear, and deformation.
High-Rigidity Material: You can print semi-flexible or highly rigid parts depending on the thickness of the printed model.
Low melting temperature: Ultrafuse PA filament has a relatively low melting point, making it printable on many professional 3D printers.
Ultrafuse PA is a PA6/66 Nylon that is relatively easy to print. It requires a printer capable of extruding filament at 220–250°C and a heated bed that can reach 120°C. We recommend using an adhesive to enhance Ultrafuse PA’s bed adhesion during printing.
This filament is highly moisture-sensitive, so we recommend storing it in a dry box such as a Polybox and drying it thoroughly if needed.
