Creality CR-Scan Raptor

✓ Avis vérifié

Not yet used, but the accompanying video is completely useless. 1 hour of blabla to finally learn nothing. Several scanners are addressed in the same video which reduces the interest. We spend a lot of time watching the scanner scan the object in real time. In short, a great lack of relevance and pointless.

Laser triangulation 3D scanner

The 3D laser technology for object scanning is widely used. This laser triangulation technology projects a laser point or line onto the object and analyzes the reflection between the camera and the object to assess its deformation.

This laser triangulation method is very precise. You will find scanners that combine laser technology with structured light for example, allowing you to combine technologies and offer a wider range of scannable parts.

Advantages of laser technology

A 3D laser scanner is chosen for its high precision and resolution, enabling very high-precision scans and digitizations. However, note that the surface properties affect the analysis process. Therefore, very shiny or transparent surfaces can be very problematic for this technology.
