Water-washable resins are photosensitive 3D resins that eliminate the need to use isopropyl alcohol for post-processing printed parts.

They have the advantage of being completely washable with tap water to remove excess resin.

The cost savings as well as the non-use of flammable materials such as alcohol or acetone are major benefits.

In some cases, the use of an ultrasonic bath is necessary to obtain a very high-quality part with fine detail levels.

Which water-washable resin to choose?

For some time now, many water-washable resins have appeared on the market.

Forshape water-washable resin has a low odor and facilitates post-processing that is as fast as other classic resins. Thanks to accelerated curing due to its fluidity, it is ideal for prototypes or parts with very precise details (figurines).

It is also photosensitive at 405nm, making it compatible with the vast majority of LCD/DLP printers on the market.
