To use the FormBox, simply place an object, whether 3D printed or not, on its platform, then activate the thermoforming system to obtain a mold matching the desired part. This device operates on the vacuum forming principle.

Creating molds and objects with the FormBox

The Mayku Clear sheets have a flexible, non-stick surface ideal for making reusable molds that are food safe. They are 0.5 mm thick.

The Mayku Form sheets are also 0.5 mm thick and are intended for making finished parts for prototyping, packaging, and product design.

In addition to Mayku sheets, the FormBox can use other thermoplastic materials such as ABS, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polypropylene, PVC, and PMMA.
