ABS-X is part of Forshape’s Industrial line and is a technical ABS material that’s easy to print. ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) has long been used in industry for the production of parts and end-use products. While traditionally challenging to print, the 1.75mm ABS-X Black makes working with ABS much more accessible and comfortable.
This filament is also ideal for makers and hobbyists who want to print ABS on an open-frame printer but struggle with adhesion or warping. ABS-X offers a practical solution for easier and more successful ABS printing.

Printing Tips
The Forshape ABS-X Black filament is compatible with all 3D printers featuring 1.75mm extrusion and can be used with the following recommendations.
This filament requires an extrusion temperature between 235 and 255°C. A heated bed should be set to a constant temperature between 80 and 100°C.
It is highly recommended to use a 3D printer enclosure or a 3D printer with a closed chamber. This will reduce warping and further enhance the interlayer bonding of your printed part.
