The Creality K2 Plus Combo uses two optical distance sensors on the Z axis. The whole process is automated without you having to worry about it. What's more, the aluminium heating bed is 5 mm thick and not easily deformed, ensuring accurate levelling.

The Creality K1 Max was already a benchmark among office printers in 2023! This time around, Creality is hitting hard with the K2 Plus Combo, which incorporates a closed, heated enclosure, multi-colour printing in up to 16 colours and all the features expected of a new-generation 3D printer, such as very high speed, with all the latest technologies on board.
The K1 Max's user interface is available in several languages, including French, and is displayed on a 4.3-inch colour touch screen. It is designed to be intuitive and to guide users through the printing process, even beginners.
What are the advantages of closed-loop servomotors?
For the K2 Plus, all the XYZ axes and the extruder are driven by closed-loop servomotors. Unlike an open-loop stepper motor, the servomotor offers 32,768 microsteps for each revolution. This provides high torque, smooth, fast response and high step accuracy. Average noise at normal speed is less than 50 dB. Better still, the motor is regulated by FOC (Field-oriented Control) on the basis of variable voltages. This considerably reduces thermal runaway and avoids blockages due to overheating.
The platter is very large, so does it heat up quickly and efficiently?
The K2 Plus Combo platter adopts a high-power 800W heating system with double protection. Firstly, there's an overheating fuse under the heating bed that disconnects automatically. There's also a fuse in the body of the machine. In the event of an unexpected situation, it also blows to ensure safety.
Which filaments does the CFS support?
The CFS can use any filament spool with a diameter of 197 to 202 mm. Cardboard spools are compatible. CFS supports most filaments such as PLA/PETG /ABS/ASA/PA-CF, but not flexible filaments such as TPU and soluble PVA.
Is CFS compatible with TPU?
No, CFS does not support TPU. To print with TPU, you can install it on the standard K2 Plus Combo spool holder.
