It features door sensors to automatically pause the 3D printer, and a HEPA filtration system to limit particle emissions during printing. Under its appearance as a 3D printer dedicated to education, the Raise3D E2 is a true production 3D printer. Thanks to its reliability and its innovative IDEX dual extrusion system (independent print head), the E2 can print series parts at very high speed.

The IDEX technology separates the two print heads so they can move independently of each other along their axis. This solves a common dual extrusion issue caused by the weight of two heads moving together. The weight savings with IDEX reduce vibrations and allow higher visual quality.

This technology also introduces two new production modes:

The duplication mode, which allows you to duplicate a print. Technically, you can instruct the slicer to print a copy of the object simultaneously with the first using the second print head.

The mirror mode, which lets you print a second object in parallel with the second nozzle. Unlike duplication, mirror mode prints an inverse copy of the first. Perfect, for example, for printing shoe soles or pairs of shoes.

The Raise3D E2 accepts 1.75mm diameter filaments (the most common on the market) and allows extrusion up to 300°C. Its interchangeable nozzle system lets you choose the ideal nozzle for your 3D prints.

You can select the diameter and material of your nozzles to print highly abrasive materials with a Ruby nozzle, or rapidly print prototypes with a 1mm nozzle.

The high extrusion temperature of the E2’s dual extrusion allows printing complex technical parts. Its closed enclosure helps regulate chamber temperature, facilitating complex filament printing.
