The Ultracur3D® RG 35 B Black resin is part of the urethane resin range developed by the manufacturer BASF and designed for 3D resin printers using DLP/LCD 405nm technology.
The RG series is the most rigid and hardest resin range, suitable for the most demanding applications requiring high rigidity without deformation.
The Ultracur3D® RG 35 B Black resin has the highest flexural modulus in the Ultracur3D range (2600 MPa) and the highest thermal stability.
Rigid (85 D), tensile resistant (80 MPa) and temperature resistant (83 °C), the Ultracur3D RG35 B resin is ideal for functional applications.
Its resistance to water absorption makes it a resin that resists aging and performs well in humid environments.
High rigidity: The Ultracur3D® RG 35 B Black Resin from BASF is the most rigid, offering an excellent balance of strength and rigidity. With a flexural modulus of 2600 MPa and a tensile strength of 80 MPa, this photoreactive BASF RG35B resin also provides excellent stability due to its low shrinkage rate. It delivers unique performance for prototyping applications and functional parts for your most technical uses.
Temperature resistance: The Ultracur3D® RG 35 B resins are the most temperature-resistant. It has a heat deflection temperature under load (0.45 mPa) of 83°C.
Water resistance: The Ultracur3D® RG 35 B resins are highly resistant to water (0.33% absorption in 24h) and can be used in humid environments without losing performance or dimensional accuracy. Another advantage of its low water sensitivity is the ability to clean parts with water.
This photoreactive material is very sensitive to light, so it is essential to protect the resin from UV light once the bottle is opened.
It is also recommended to wear gloves during handling the resin.
Shake your resin bottle before use and allow it to rest for a few minutes after filling your print tank. This will allow any air bubbles to disappear.

After cleaning with alcohol and drying for a few moments, don't forget to complete the post-processing by placing the parts in a UV chamber to achieve the best performance (approximately 20 minutes depending on size and thickness).
