Excellent first-layer adhesion, improved durability

After optimizing the manufacturing process with this Bambu Lab Textured PEI Plate, the plate’s durability is enhanced.

Additionally, adhesion between prints and the plate is significantly improved, eliminating the need for adhesives. *In some cases, glue may be required for very specific filaments.

Self-release upon cooling

PEI is an excellent material for 3D printing applications due to its ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles of a heated build plate.

Prints detach easily when the plate temperature reaches room temperature, and we always recommend waiting until it reaches 35°C or lower.

If the part is still attached, simply flex the steel plate slightly, and the model will come off easily.

Compatibility with various filaments

PEI enables printing not only common materials such as PLA, TPU, and PETG, but also high-temperature materials such as ABS and Nylon.

Prevents warping thanks to reliable magnetic adhesion

The Bambu Lab Textured PEI Plate features a 0.5 mm thick stainless steel sheet, providing enhanced magnetic adhesion.

This helps prevent warping and ensures optimal print quality, reducing the risk of first-layer detachment due to deformation.

This is particularly useful when printing larger models with warp-prone materials such as ABS, PC, and Nylon.

Textured surface finish
