Difference between ecoPLA+ and ecoPLA Forshape

ecoPLA+ provides ease of printing similar to standard PLA, however it requires a higher extrusion temperature, with a minimum recommended temperature of 215°C compared to the usual 190°C for regular PLA.

There is no difference in bed temperature, and it can be printed without a heated bed.

Moreover, ecoPLA+ Forshape offers greater strength than PLA (11x). No enclosure or reduced ventilation is necessary.

Our recommendations for using ecoPLA+ Forshape

ecoPLA+ Black Forshape is a filament compatible with all open 3D printers using 1.75 mm extrusion. It adheres well to all types of build plates, whether heated or not.

We recommend setting your printer's extrusion temperature between 215 and 235°C for optimal printing conditions with reinforced Black Forshape PLA.

A print speed between 50 and 100 mm/s and the use of a heated bed up to 60°C are also recommended.
