The Nanovia PP-CF has virtually zero water absorption, resistance to solvents, and a low volumetric mass.
The polypropylene filament is ideal for very lightweight parts exposed to the elements, requiring significant dimensional stability, such as adapters for nautical equipment or mechanical parts for the automotive industry.

Polypropylene is a semi-flexible material, highly resistant to fatigue and impacts, allowing the production of hinges or parts subjected to repeated stresses. Reinforced with carbon fibers, the PP filament becomes rigid and UV resistant. Impervious to moisture, it is perfectly suited for outdoor applications, or for the production of durable parts for industry.
Polypropylene gradually softens with temperature. The addition of carbon fibers limits this phenomenon, making the Nanovia PP CF suitable for components requiring dimensional control in warm, humid environments.
The Nanovia PP CF filament has an extrusion temperature ideally between 235 and 255°C. A heated bed at 80°C to 100°C is recommended. Since this material is carbon fiber reinforced, we recommend using a reinforced nozzle during printing.
We recommend storing your spool away from moisture with desiccant. If it has been exposed to moisture or open air, please dry your filament at 60°C for 4 hours or more. Finally, using a printer with air extraction or a filtered chamber is highly recommended.
