Spring PEI Plate, Anycubic Kobra X

The Anycubic Kobra X Spring PEI Plate is a spare part designed to replace the original build surface of your machine. It consists of a flexible spring steel sheet coated with a textured PEI surface, known for its excellent print adhesion and ease of use on a daily basis.

This type of build plate is particularly appreciated for its ability to keep prints securely in place during long printing sessions while allowing quick and easy part removal once the plate has cooled down. In most cases, simply bending the sheet slightly is enough to release the printed object without tools or excessive force.

Excellent adhesion for everyday filaments

The PEI coating provides strong first-layer adhesion with most common materials used in FDM 3D printing:

• PLA
• PETG
• TPU
• ABS (with a suitable environment)

The textured surface also helps reduce warping issues and improves print consistency on larger parts.

Flexible spring steel plate

Unlike traditional rigid surfaces, this flexible steel plate makes print removal significantly easier. A slight bend of the plate is usually enough to detach printed parts without damaging either the build surface or the printed object.

This design also reduces the risk of scratches or damage caused by repeated use of metal scrapers.

Anycubic Kobra X compatibility

This build plate has been designed to be compatible with the Anycubic Kobra X. It uses the proper dimensions and magnetic system adapted to this printer for quick and easy installation.

Usage recommendations

To maintain good adhesion over time, it is recommended to clean the surface regularly with isopropyl alcohol to remove grease and dust residues.

It is also recommended to avoid aggressive metal tools on the PEI coating in order to preserve the surface texture and adhesion performance.
