This Polymaker bundle combines PolyMide PA12-CF Black and the PolyDryer Polymaker to meet the demands of the most advanced technical 3D printing applications. Developed with “Warp Free” technology, this carbon fiber reinforced nylon 12 filament offers excellent mechanical and thermal performance while minimizing warping. Combined with the PolyDryer, it maintains optimal printing conditions by reducing moisture, ensuring consistent and reliable results.
PA12-CF is a technical composite material ideally suited for professional and industrial applications, especially for tooling or highly stressed parts.
Rigidity: PolyMide PA12-CF is a polyamide (PA12) filament reinforced with carbon fiber, offering high stiffness and flexural strength up to 110 MPa.
Thermal resistance: This material offers excellent heat resistance (>100°C). Its heat deflection temperature reaches approximately 105°C, making it ideal for demanding environments.
Optimized performance with PolyDryer: The PolyDryer Polymaker keeps filament dry, reducing moisture effects, improving extrusion quality, and ensuring consistent mechanical performance.
Low moisture sensitivity: PA12 naturally absorbs less moisture than standard nylons while maintaining good chemical resistance.
We recommend an extrusion temperature between 260 and 300°C, depending on your print parameters (speed, nozzle, layer height). A heated bed between 25 and 50°C and a suitable adhesion solution are strongly recommended.
Using the PolyDryer is essential to ensure high-quality prints and prevent moisture-related degradation.
