Usage of Ultrafuse PAHT CF15 Filament

Ultrafuse PAHT CF15 is a high-performance 3D printing filament that opens new fields of application in FFF printing. Alongside its advanced mechanical properties, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance, it offers very good processability.

It works on any filament 3D printer equipped with a hardened nozzle.

Furthermore, Ultrafuse PAHT CF15 is compatible with BVOH soluble support material and HIPS, allowing the printing of complex geometries in demanding environments.

Ultrafuse PAHT CF15: Key Features

  • Chemical resistance superior to most PA grades
  • High temperature resistance up to 150°C
  • Strong and rigid parts
  • Excellent dimensional stability
  • Easy processing
  • Low moisture absorption

Our Recommendations for BASF Ultrafuse PA-HT CF15

Printing Ultrafuse PA-HT CF15 from BASF is straightforward. A 3D printer capable of extruding the filament between 260 and 280°C at a speed range of 30 to 80 mm/s is required. The heated bed should be set between 100 and 120°C. BASF recommends using a light layer of adhesive to protect the bed during printing.

The Magigoo PRO PA adhesive is perfectly suited for this. Another point to consider is the high abrasion caused by this filament on most extrusion systems. The high glass fiber content in this PAHT CF15 requires using a reinforced nozzle with a minimum diameter of 0.5 mm.
