The Ultracur3D ST 80 W resin developed by manufacturer BASF is a photoreactive urethane resin developed for DLP/LCD and MSLA technology.
The ST series is the most robust and solid, designed for the most demanding applications requiring rigidity, impact resistance, and durability. The ST 80 W resin is the most accessible resin in the ST range.
Recommended for its precision, stability, and beautiful white appearance. It is shock-resistant but less rigid than the standard version. It is also slightly more temperature-sensitive.
The Ultracur3D ST 80 W offers a fine finish. It is specially designed for highly detailed printing and offers long-term UV stability.
Mechanical resistance: Solid and impact-resistant, this photoreactive ST 80 W resin provides an excellent balance between strength and precision. It is suitable for both technical and aesthetic applications and delivers sufficient performance for various prototyping or finished product applications.
Accessibility: The Ultracur3D ST 80 W urethane resin is technical, high-performance, and accessible. Resistant to prolonged stress, it is particularly recommended for parts that require high detail, beautiful visual rendering, and mechanical resistance to wear and friction.
Precision: Urethane resins offer good precision and excellent dimensional stability. Suitable for the fastest and most precise 3D printers, the quality of BASF resins is perfect for the most demanding, high-performance, and precise applications.
Ultracur3D photoreactive resins are highly sensitive to light, so they must be protected from UV exposure. Be sure to store them in a light- and humidity-protected environment. It is also important to wear gloves when handling the resin.
Shake your resin well before use and let it rest for a few moments after pouring it into the tray to allow air bubbles to disappear. To determine the optimal exposure time for your slice and 3D printer, don't hesitate to consult our community.
Don’t forget to clean your part in IPA-type alcohol or an appropriate solution like BASF Cleaner to remove the liquid resin and maintain a uniform appearance. The final step in fabricating your part is a pass through the UV curing chamber to achieve the best performance (approximately 20 minutes depending on dimensions and thickness).
