The PPS-CF Black from Bambu Lab is a technical filament designed for applications requiring high thermal resistance, exceptional chemical resistance, and dimensional stability.
Ideal for manufacturing parts exposed to demanding conditions, it is commonly used in the automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries. Its low moisture absorption makes it a reliable choice for applications in contact with water or highly humid environments.
Highly abrasive, it requires precise printing parameters and is not compatible with the AMS system.
Exceptional thermal resistance: PPS-CF Black can withstand high temperatures up to 264°C at 0.45 MPa, making it suitable for applications requiring prolonged thermal resistance.
Chemical and solvent resistance: This filament offers excellent resistance to solvents, corrosion, and flames, ensuring the durability of printed parts in demanding environments.
Flame-retardant material: PPS-CF is UL-94 V-0 rated, making it ideal for sensitive environments such as electronics.
Ultra-low moisture absorption: With a moisture absorption rate of only 0.05%, PPS-CF Black maintains the stability of its mechanical and thermal properties even in humid conditions.
Bambu Lab compatibility: This filament is compatible with Bambu Lab X1E 3D printers.
For optimal use of PPS-CF Black from Bambu Lab, it is recommended to set the extrusion temperature between 310 and 340°C and the bed temperature between 100 and 120°C.
Due to the filament’s abrasiveness, it is advisable to use a wear-resistant nozzle with a minimum diameter of 0.4 mm. This filament is not compatible with AMS systems.
Additionally, it is essential to dry the filament before printing to prevent moisture absorption, which could affect print quality. Finally, to improve bed adhesion and reduce the risk of warping, using a suitable print surface or specific adhesive is recommended.
