The TPU Feed Assist Module for Bambu Lab is designed for users who have already faced the limitations of TPU in 3D printing. Flexible, friction-sensitive, and difficult to guide over long distances, TPU requires a perfectly controlled feeding system to avoid under-extrusion, jams, or flow inconsistencies.
This module provides a simple but effective solution: an active filament feeding system directly integrated into the extrusion path. By supporting TPU advancement, it significantly reduces mechanical stress along the feed path and ensures a much more consistent extrusion.
One of the key advantages of this system is the ability to completely free the filament feeding path. TPU can be stored in an external dry box or a side-mounted setup without affecting extrusion quality. The module compensates for tension variations and maintains a constant flow, even during long or complex prints.
This behavior is especially valuable for users printing technical flexible parts, where flow consistency is critical.

The module is compatible with the H2, X1, P1, P2S, and X2D series. It can be installed on either print head, depending on the intended setup. Installed on the right head, it allows the left head to remain available for other materials such as PLA supports.
Please note that the system requires mechanical and electronic assembly, as well as 3D printing of the module housing and support structure.
This module works only with an external spool holder or AMS HT. AMS automatic loading/unloading is not supported. To preserve TPU quality, it is recommended to keep the filament dry, ideally using an AMS HT system or a dedicated drying box.
During installation, it is essential to carefully follow the Bambu Lab guide to ensure correct assembly and optimal feeding performance.
This module changes the way TPU is approached on Bambu Lab machines. Where flexible printing previously required fine tuning and a rigid filament path setup, this solution offers a more robust and forgiving workflow.
For regular TPU users, it provides improved usability and noticeably better extrusion consistency, especially on long prints or technical parts.
Please note: some parts of the system (especially the housing and module support) must be 3D printed by the user to complete the assembly of the TPU Feed Assist Module.
