Use of BASF Ultracur3D RG 3280 Resin

These exceptional properties place Ultracur3D® RG 3280 in an exceptional position among our other resins. Moreover, despite the high particle load, the viscosity remains low and particle settling is limited, making this resin very easy to handle and print. Its high stiffness and temperature resistance make it the ideal material for tooling, molding, and wind tunnel testing.

The material has a white color and feel, similar to ceramic.

Our Recommendations for Using RG 3280 Resin

Ultracur3D resins are photoreactive and therefore very sensitive to light. They must be protected from UV light as soon as they are opened. Be sure to store them away from light. It is also recommended to wear gloves for handling the resin.

Shake your resin bottle before use and let it rest for a few minutes after filling your print vat to allow air bubbles to disappear. To determine the proper exposure settings for your 3D printer, feel free to check our dedicated articles on the community.

After cleaning with alcohol using the BASF Cleaner and a few minutes of drying, don't forget to finish the post-processing by passing the parts through a UV chamber to achieve the advertised performance (approximately 20 minutes depending on size and thickness).
