The PolyLite™ PLA-CF 3D filament is a high-quality PLA reinforced with carbon fiber, designed for functional applications and smooth matte surface finish.

It contains 8% fibers to reinforce your PLA. Built from A to Z to print rigid models with a high-quality matte surface finish. The PolyLite PLA-CF combines rigidity and excellent dimensional stability with a smooth matte surface finish that hides layers.

Key features of Polymaker PLA-CF

Matte surface finish: PolyLite™ PLA-CF contains 8% carbon fiber, giving a smooth, matte surface. PLA-CF is ideal for applications requiring an easy-to-print filament with a smooth carbon fiber finish that hides layers.

Mechanical properties: PolyLite PLA-CF provides a balance between high stiffness, good strength, and improved toughness for projects requiring both aesthetic and functional performance. The base material of PLA-CF is Polymaker's eco-friendly Matte PLA (PolyTerra™ PLA), which has lower stiffness and strength but better impact resistance (X-Y) than ordinary PLA.

Easy to print: A high-quality carbon fiber PLA, PLA-CF features excellent dimensional accuracy and is manufactured with Polymaker’s Jam-Free™ technology for superior print quality. PolyLite™ PLA-CF works well on most print surfaces with a bed at 25°C - 60°C and a thin glue stick layer applied.

Our printing recommendations with PolyLite PLA-CF

Printing PolyLite PLA-CF is straightforward. Recommended settings: extrusion temperature 190 to 220°C and print speed between 30 and 70mm/s.

Using an enclosure and/or heated bed is recommended but not required. PolyLite PLA-CF is not prone to warping or lifting and prints on most surfaces (glass, tape, BuildTak).

Polymaker PolyLite PLA-CF is compatible with 3D printers extruding 1.75 or 2.85mm filament. We also recommend using a steel nozzle of at least 0.5mm diameter.
