The eSun TPU‑LW Black - 1.75mm - 1Kg uses active foaming technology that expands the filament during printing. By adjusting the temperature and speed, you can control the density and strength of your parts. The resulting foam creates a lightweight, delicately textured matte surface while reducing visible layer lines.
Despite its soft texture, the material remains robust, elastic, and tear-resistant, with excellent shape memory, making it ideal for flexible wearable prints, cosplay accessories, or any object that requires movement, comfort, and durability.

Customizable active foam technology: depending on printing temperature and speed, the foam amount—and therefore part density—can be freely adjusted to meet different strength or flexibility requirements.
Matte surface and delicate texture: the foamed structure gives a fine, matte, pleasant-to-touch surface with less visible layer lines for a clean aesthetic.
Flexibility, elasticity, and durability: the material stays soft, tear-resistant, and quickly recovers its shape after deformation, enhancing the lifespan of printed parts.
For optimal results with the eSun TPU‑LW Black - 1.75mm - 1Kg, print with a nozzle temperature between 210 and 270 °C. The foaming effect usually starts around 210 °C, but the full range allows adjustments according to your printer and speed.
A heated bed set between 40 and 60 °C improves first-layer adhesion and helps stabilize printing. Since foaming occurs continuously in the nozzle, standard retraction may not work well and can cause stringing. Disabling retraction or using vase mode is often recommended to reduce unwanted threads.
For even lighter or larger parts, reducing extrusion to around 45 % can help achieve the desired foam volume while maintaining good adhesion and surface quality.
Finally, storing the filament in a dry environment helps preserve its properties and facilitates long-term printing.
