What are the differences between the xTool F2 Ultra, F2 Ultra Monolaser and F1 Ultra?
Each of these machines is designed for different applications.
The xTool F2 Ultra combines a 60 W MOPA fiber laser with a 40 W blue diode laser, making it suitable for processing both metals and a wide range of non-metal materials.
The xTool F2 Ultra Monolaser is equipped exclusively with a 60 W MOPA fiber laser and is primarily intended for metal processing applications.
The xTool F1 Ultra combines a 20 W Q-switched fiber laser with a 20 W diode laser. It features a built-in camera and offers a maximum engraving speed of 10,000 mm/s, compared with 15,000 mm/s for the F2 Ultra models.
What is the maximum metal cutting or engraving capacity of the xTool F2 Ultra?
The xTool F2 Ultra can cut up to 2 mm brass, 2 mm stainless steel, and 1 mm aluminum.
For deep engraving, the achievable depth depends on the material being processed and the engraving parameters selected.
Which materials can be engraved with the xTool F2 Ultra?
Thanks to its dual laser technology, the xTool F2 Ultra is compatible with a wide range of engraving materials.
The 40 W diode laser can engrave materials including wood, paper, leather, MDF, bamboo, fabric, dark glass, ceramic, jade, marble, slate, cement, brick, painted or plated metals, and selected dark opaque acrylics.

What is the working area of the xTool F2 Ultra?
The xTool F2 Ultra provides a standard working area of 220 × 220 mm.
When used with the conveyor system, the working area can be extended to 220 × 500 mm, allowing longer workpieces to be processed.
Is the xTool F2 Ultra or F2 Ultra Monolaser compatible with LightBurn?
No. The xTool F2 Ultra and xTool F2 Ultra Monolaser are not compatible with LightBurn.
