Regarding the heat deflection temperature (HDT at 0.45 MPa), it goes from 56.3 °C before annealing to 107.6 °C after a 30-minute heat treatment at 100 °C. These characteristics make it possible to consider parts intended for hotter environments than those usually suited to PLA.

Printing tips and settings for PLA-HT Pro White

The Polymaker HT-PLA Pro prints with settings similar to those of a standard PLA. The recommended values are as follows:

  • Nozzle temperature: 210 to 230 °C
  • Bed temperature: 25 to 60 °C
  • Print speed: 40 to 300 mm/s
  • Cooling fan: on

For applications requiring better heat deflection resistance under load, Polymaker recommends annealing for 30 minutes at 100 °C. This process improves the material's heat deflection temperature (HDT) in line with data published by the manufacturer.
