QUICKSURFACE Pro is a complete professional solution for 3D reverse engineering. The software is compatible with any 3D scanner exporting STL, OBJ or PLY meshes or PTX point clouds. It provides simple yet powerful tools for converting your scanned data into ready-to-use models. You can use it for freeform modelling and parametric modelling. In addition, automatic surfacing is available. Your high-quality models can be exported in standard IGES or STEP file formats to other CAD/CAM packages, or you can use them for 3D printing or CNC machining.

Importing scan data

Import scan data from any scanner saved as STL, OBJ or PLY files into QUICKSURFACE Pro. For long-range scanners, data can be imported using the PTX file format. QUICKSURFACE allows the user to load meshes of any size.

Mesh editing

QUICKSURFACE Pro's easy-to-use mesh editing tools make it easy to reduce data size without losing accuracy, fill holes and remove outliers. Create watertight meshes for 3D printing or reverse engineering.

De-functionalise

QUICKSURFACE Pro can remove stamps, markers or other features. Simply select and delete features at the click of a button.

Primitive extraction

QUICKSURFACE Pro quickly reconstructs planes, cylinders, cones and spheres. In addition, create reference geometries such as lines and points that can be used to align meshes with the world coordinate system or other scans.

Symmetry plane

Find a plane of symmetry of the object. Use the analyser to identify the quality of the position of the plane. Adjust the position using the on-screen controls to obtain the best results.

Adjust the surface

Select the area of interest and let the software approximate it with a free-form surface. The resulting surface is extended to allow trimming. The real-time colour deviation map instantly displays the quality of the surface.
