PolyWood by Polymaker is a PLA filament designed to replicate the look and texture of real wood, without containing any actual wood fibers. This eliminates the common risk of nozzle clogs associated with traditional wood-filled filaments.
Using a special foaming technology, micro air bubbles are added during production. When printed, these bubbles create a natural-looking, slightly porous surface that mimics real wood.
With a density of only 0.8 g/cm³, PolyWood is 30–40% lighter than standard PLA while maintaining excellent printability and dimensional stability.
PolyWood is compatible with all open FDM 3D printers in both 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm diameters.
