Nanovia PC-ABS Rail: key features
EN 45545-2:2013+A1:2015: PC-ABS Rail meets this essential standard for certain railway applications.
Flame-retardant: Made from certified materials, this filament is non-flammable.
Easier to print than PC: This ABS-reinforced polycarbonate is easier to print than raw PC.
Our recommendations for Nanovia PC-ABS Rail filament
The Nanovia PC-ABS Rail filament has an ideal extrusion temperature between 270 and 290°C and a printing speed of 40 to 60mm/s.
A heated bed at 120°C is recommended as well as an enclosure temperature of 90°C.
Since polycarbonate is moisture-sensitive, we recommend storing your spool in a dry environment with desiccant. If it has been exposed to moisture or open air, please dry your filament at 60°C for 4h or more.
Finally, we highly recommend using a printer with an air extraction system or a filtered enclosure.
