PolyTerra PLA+ Yellow

The eco-friendly PolyTerra PLA+ Yellow filament was developed by Polymaker using a technique called "Fully Bio Compound (FBC)", which is a blend of PLA (a biodegradable polymer made from corn starch, beetroot, and wheat) and organic minerals. This PLA+ version optimizes the interlayer adhesion with 27% more layer adhesion and 29% more strength compared to standard PolyTerra.

If you are looking for a cost-effective or eco-friendly PLA, or both, the PolyTerra™ PLA+ filament is definitely your first choice. Additionally, if used as a support material, PolyTerra™ PLA+ Yellow can be easily removed.

The PolyTerra PLA+ filament is used for simple prototyping to a finished decorative piece or accessory.

Our Usage Recommendations for PolyTerra

The PolyTerra PLA+ Yellow is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market, whether in 1.75mm or 2.85mm.

We recommend setting your printer's extrusion temperature between 190°C and 220°C for optimal printing conditions with PolyTerra PLA+ Yellow. An extrusion speed between 30 and 70mm/s, along with a heated bed set between 25°C and 60°C, is also recommended.

If your printer uses a direct drive extrusion system, the recommended retraction distance is 1mm at 30mm/s. If your printer uses a Bowden extruder, the recommended retraction distance is 3mm at 60mm/s.
