The Polymaker Fiberon™ PPS-CF10 filament incorporates 10% carbon fibers into a PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) polymer, an exceptionally strong and stable material in extreme conditions. This filament is designed to meet the needs of industrial applications, especially those exposed to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and significant mechanical loads.

Thanks to its reinforced composition, it combines excellent heat resistance, remarkable dimensional stability, and low deformation during printing.

The Polymaker Fiberon™ PPS-CF10 is particularly suitable for the production of functional parts that require high-performance characteristics, such as automotive components, tools, or parts of devices subjected to severe conditions. Its low moisture absorption and wear resistance also make it an ideal choice for durable and demanding applications.

• Carbon fibers (10%): Enhances the material's rigidity and strength while maintaining a lightweight quality for mobile and complex applications.
• Excellent thermal resistance: Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 252.5°C without deformation, ideal for parts exposed to thermally aggressive environments.
• Chemical resistance: PPS is particularly suitable for environments containing aggressive chemicals (acids, alkalis, fuels, and solvents), offering exceptional durability.
• Low deformation during printing: Ensures superior printing precision, with optimal dimensional stability and minimal warping tendency.

Printing Tips

• Extrusion temperature: 310-350°C for optimal filament melting.
• Build plate temperature: 80-90°C to ensure good adhesion of the first layer.
• Printing speed: up to 300 mm/s.
• Use of hardened steel nozzle: Carbon fibers can quickly wear out standard nozzles, so it is recommended to use reinforced nozzles. A metal hotend is necessary for printing above 310°C.
• Drying: Store the filament in a dry environment or dry it at 100°C for 10 hours before use to prevent moisture absorption. Use of the PolyDryer at level 3 for 18 hours is possible.
