The Polymaker Fiberon™ PPS‑GF20 filament is a technical material based on PPS, a semi‑crystalline polymer renowned for its thermal and chemical stability. Reinforced with 20% glass fiber, it offers strength, dimensional precision, and durability even in harsh environments.

Thanks to its insulating properties and self‑extinguishing behavior, it is perfectly suited for manufacturing electronic enclosures, insulating supports, or engineering components subjected to high thermal stress.

This filament also stands out for its low moisture absorption, ensuring stable and consistent printing. It can be a cost‑effective, high‑performance alternative to premium materials like PEEK or ULTEM, while remaining accessible to high‑temperature industrial printers.

Printing Recommendations

Extrusion temperature: 310–350 °C for proper melting of polymer and fibers.
Bed temperature: 80–90 °C for good first layer adhesion.
Recommended nozzle: hardened steel or ruby nozzle strongly recommended due to abrasive glass fibers (0.5 mm diameter recommended).
Print speed: up to 250 mm/s depending on printer capabilities.
Ventilation: printing without fan recommended to enhance layer bonding.
Compatible support: PolySupport™ for PA12 recommended for printing complex geometries.
Storage: store in a dry place. If filament has absorbed moisture, dry at 100 °C for 10 hours before use.
Post‑print annealing: thermal treatment at 130 °C for 10 hours (or up to 230 °C for optimal performance) increases thermal resistance and dimensional stability.
