Polymaker Fiberon™ PA612‑ESD filament is a technical material based on PA612 nylon, formulated with a specific blend of carbon fibers and carbon nanotubes to provide effective electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.

It is designed for the production of components sensitive to static electricity in sectors such as electronics, robotics, or industrial automation. Excellent mechanical properties and good moisture resistance.

The Polymaker Fiberon™ PA612‑ESD filament combines a PA6/PA12 nylon matrix with carbon fiber reinforcement and conductive additives to provide both high mechanical strength and permanent ESD protection.

This filament is ideal for printing electronic enclosures, production jigs, or automated machine components used in environments sensitive to electrostatic discharge.

Thanks to its advanced formulation, it ensures reliable charge dissipation while retaining the benefits of PA612: low moisture absorption, good dimensional stability, and excellent printability. This industrial-grade material is designed for demanding applications where electrostatic safety and mechanical performance go hand in hand.

Printing Recommendations

Extrusion temperature: 280–300 °C for optimal melting of polymers and conductive additives.
Bed temperature: 40–50 °C for good adhesion.
Recommended nozzle: hardened steel or ruby nozzle required due to abrasive fibers; all-metal hotend necessary above 280 °C.
Print speed: up to 300 mm/s depending on the printer and cooling.
Storage: store in a dry environment (< 20% RH); if humid, dry at 100 °C for 10 h (oven) or 18 h on level 3 with PolyDryer.
Post-print annealing: anneal at 100 °C for 10 hours to improve dimensional stability and mechanical performance.
