By combining the ease of printing of PLA with the mechanical properties of flax fibres, Nanovia PLA LIN makes it easy to manufacture mechanical parts. The colour of the part can be varied according to the printing temperature.
This bio-sourced composite filament, certified as free from endocrine disruptors, can be burnished at print temperatures of up to 260°C. The organic effect of this composite makes it ideal for making decorative objects such as design items, toys and much more.
Mechanical strength: The addition of flax fibres to this material PLA increases its mechanical strength.
Colourimetry: Depending on the extrusion temperature of the filament, you can brown and change its appearance and colour.
Made in France: PLA Linen is bio-sourced and manufactured in the Nanovia factories in Brittany.
Nanovia 's PLA Natural Flax is a filament compatible with all open 3D printers equipped with 1.75mm. extrusion. It will adhere to any type of heated platen.
We recommend that you set your printer to an extrusion temperature of between 200 and 230°C in order to print PLA Flax Nanovia under optimum conditions. A print speed of between 40 and 60mm/s and the use of a platen with a heating option of up to 50 to 70°C are also recommended.
A 0.5mm diameter nozzle is also recommended as this is a fibre-filled material.
