Nanovia PLA Wood is a composite filament resulting from a collaboration between Nanovia and Saint-Honoré Paris, a leading company in the wood and metal industry serving fashion brands.

After each storm or gale, the teams at the Domaine Saint-Honoré collect and recycle fallen trees, known as windfall wood, to turn them into flour. The Domaine Saint-Honoré forest estate is located near Saint-Émilion in the Bordeaux region of France. It is managed to the highest environmental standards and is FSC and PEFC certified. This wood flour is mainly made from softwoods, particularly maritime pine, and its production is carbon-neutral and eco-compensated.
Its light brown mottled appearance and textured surface make Nanovia PLA wood ideal for printing toys and decorative interior objects.
When printed, it has a strong pine scent.

Nanovia 's PLA Wood is a filament compatible with all open 3D printers equipped with 1.75mm. extrusion. It will adhere to any type of heated platen.
We recommend that you set your printer to an extrusion temperature of between 210 and 230°C in order to print PLA Lin Nanovia under optimum conditions. A print speed of between 40 and 60mm/s and the use of a platen with a heating option of up to 60 to 70°C are also recommended.
A 0.5mm diameter nozzle is also recommended as this is a fibre-filled material.
