This material, specifically designed for high-end sectors such as the railway industry, meets and complies with the NF EN 45545-2 standard.
Made from certified materials, it provides fire safety by preventing the spread of smoke or flames. It is composed of polyamide (nylon) and ceramic flame retardants. Easy to print, it does not require an enclosed chamber.
This PA Rail is used for functional parts such as electrical equipment controls, handles, buttons, armrests...
EN 45545-2: PA Rail meets this essential standard for certain railway applications.
Flame-retardant: Made from certified materials, this filament is non-flammable.
Excellent adhesion: No warping during printing.
Easy to print: Prints without an enclosure.
The Nanovia PA Rail filament has an ideal extrusion temperature between 260 and 280°C. A heated bed at 70–80°C is recommended.
As nylon is moisture-sensitive, we recommend storing your spool in a dry environment with desiccant. If it has been exposed to moisture or open air, please dry your filament at 60°C for 4 hours or more.
Finally, using a printer with an air extraction system or filtered enclosure is highly recommended.
