This robust filament is specifically formulated to withstand printing speeds of over 300 mm/s. It offers impact resistance comparable to ABS and superior flexibility to ASA and PETG. As a result, it is ideal for printing models and parts that require exceptional durability.

Key Features of High-Speed Polysonic PLA Pro Black 1.75mm

A material is considered "High Speed" if it meets the following 3 criteria at a fixed printing temperature:

Flowability: It can be extruded consistently at 24mm3/s on a popular extrusion system (equivalent to 300mm/s at a layer height of 0.2mm with a 0.4mm nozzle).

Formability: At 24mm3/s, it maintains surface quality, overhangs, and bridges similar to those printed at a slower speed.

Functionality: At 24mm3/s, it retains at least 80% of its overall mechanical properties when printed at a slower speed (mainly: layer adhesion, tensile strength, and impact resistance).

Our Recommendations for Using this Polysonic PLA Pro

The Polysonic PLA is a filament compatible with all open-source 3D printers equipped with 1.75mm extrusion.

We recommend setting your printer to an extrusion temperature between 190 and 230°C to print Polysonic PLA under optimal conditions. An printing speed between 50 and 300mm/s and the use of a heated bed with a temperature option up to 60°C are also recommended.
