Nanovia HIPS is characterised by its good thermal and mechanical properties. Its impact resistance is particularly appreciated by manufacturers. The specific viscosity of HIPS for additive manufacturing means that details can be printed with great precision, as well as a smooth appearance.
Nanovia HIPS is perfectly suited to printing supports and rafts in double extrusion 3D printing. It is compatible with the vast majority of materials and provides a rigid foundation that is easy to remove from your parts. It is soluble in limonene.
Impact resistance: The composition of this High ImpactPolystyrene gives it mechanical properties and good impact resistance.
Soluble supports: This solution is soluble in limonene and will be very useful when used as a support material with technical filaments that are not necessarily soluble with other support materials.
HIPS Nanovia is a filament compatible with all open 3D printers equipped with extrusion at 1.75mm.. It will adhere to any type of heated platen.
We recommend that you set your printer to an extrusion temperature of between 230 and 250°C in order to print HIPS Nanovia under optimum conditions. A print speed of between 40 and 60mm/s and the use of a platen with a heating option of up to 90 to 110°C are also recommended.
