The PLA VX developed by the manufacturer Nanovia is a 3D filament based on PLA incorporating a virucidal active charge. Certified ISO 21702 for its antiviral activity, this filament combines the properties of a traditional PLA with the ability to combat viruses on surfaces and limit the spread of pathogens.
The PLA VX filament is a patented material with a specific composition incorporating copper and silver particles to create this virucidal effect. Suitable for personal and professional use.
99.9% elimination in 4 hours: The action of this filament with virucidal properties is effective immediately. It eliminates 98.7% of biological contaminants in 2 hours, then 99.9% in 4 hours.
Easy to use: This PLA base filament retains the ease of use typical of this type of material. Compatible with all filament 3D printers, this PLA VX version is suitable for all users.
Various applications: With a powerful action that is safe for contact with the skin, Nanovia PLA VX is suitable for making everyday objects with regular contact.
The PLA VX filament is compatible with bowden and direct drive 3D printers and is available in diameters of 1.75mm and 2.85mm.
We recommend using the printing parameters of a traditional PLA (between 190° and 210° extrusion temperature). Be careful not to use a nozzle with too small a diameter to limit the risk of clogging.
To preserve the virucidal effect of the material, it should not be covered, leaving the native material on the surface.
