The PolyMide PA6-GF Gray 1.75mm developed by Polymaker is a 3D material very strong and impact-resistant.
Also designed to withstand high temperatures (191°C), it allows the production of functional parts such as gears with excellent durability and performance.
This glass fiber reinforced PA6-6 is widely used for 3D printing parts operating in environments where temperatures reach 190°C.
With excellent interlayer adhesion, this premium PA6-GF is easier to print than standard PA6 and maintains high dimensional accuracy.
Thanks to the Warp-Free technology developed by Polymaker, this 3D filament can also be printed without a heated chamber.
High temperature resistance: PolyMide PA6-GF Gray from Polymaker offers high thermal resistance (191°C).
Layer adhesion: PolyMide PA6-GF Gray provides excellent interlayer adhesion thanks to a controlled Polyamide matrix dispersion.
High strength: PolyMide PA6-GF is a filament with very high rigidity and durability (Charpy: 16.5 kJ/m2).
3D printing with PolyMide PA6-GF Gray should be done with an extrusion temperature of 280 to 300°C, a heated bed between 25 and 50°C (max), and a print speed of 60 to 70mm/s.
Printing a glass fiber reinforced nylon is abrasive, so using an abrasion-resistant nozzle such as Solex3D with a Ruby nozzle is highly recommended. A standard nozzle can be completely damaged after printing only 100g.
To achieve the maximum properties of your 3D part, baking the part for 2h in an oven is ideal.
Using a dual extrusion 3D printer for printing complex geometries is useful. In this case, a dedicated support material like Polydissolve is recommended.
Finally, we recommend storing the filament in a dedicated box like PolyBox to avoid moisture absorption. If necessary, dry at 80°C for 12 hours in a traditional oven.
This PA6-GF Gray filament is compatible with most 3D printers on the market and is available in 1.75mm and 2.85mm as well as 2kg and 2kg versions.
