With low moisture absorption, high strength and stiffness, excellent wear and creep resistance, and outstanding chemical and thermal resistance (188°C), this material is ideal for automotive, aerospace, and electronics sectors.

The Raise3D Industrial PPA CF filament is a PPA-based (Polyphthalamide or High-Performance Nylon) material reinforced with carbon fiber.
Raise3D Industrial PPA CF is used in advanced sectors where applications require rigidity, chemical and thermal resistance as well as wear resistance.
Less prone to moisture than standard PA, this material offers real added value compared to other fiber-filled nylons and composite nylons.
Using this carbon fiber reinforced PPA also generally results in parts with a better surface finish.
This high-quality Raise3D Industrial PPA CF was specifically designed for the Raise3D E2CF and its IdeaMaker software (profiles available on the Raise3D site), making its use straightforward.
Nevertheless, this material is compatible with other 3D printers that accept 1.75mm diameter filaments.

Although this Raise3D Industrial PPA CF was primarily developed for the brand, it can be used on other open 3D printers that accept 1.75mm filaments.
As with all fiber-filled abrasive materials, using a hardened steel or ruby nozzle is highly recommended.
Also, since this PPA CF is less prone to warping than standard polyamide, using a bed adhesive provides additional comfort and ensures good printing. The Magigoo PA, an adhesive specifically designed for nylons, is recommended by our experts.
The Raise3D Drying Box or another drying solution is essential to dry your material before printing. This high-performance nylon is moisture sensitive, so this step is mandatory.
We recommend setting your printer to an extrusion temperature between 290 and 310°C for optimal printing conditions with Raise3D PPA CF.
An printing speed between 30 and 120mm/s and a heated bed between 65 and 80°C are also recommended.
After printing, a post-bake phase between 80 and 100°C for 8 to 12 hours is recommended.
