Ultrafuse PA: a very high-quality Nylon 6/66

Ultrafuse PA filament is the result of BASF's work to integrate Ultramid® into the world of 3D printing. It is an alloy of PA6 and PA66 with intermediate viscosity that offers highly interesting mechanical and thermal properties.

Ultrafuse PA filament provides greater impact and wear resistance compared to standard PA6 or PA66. It is ideal for manufacturing industrial parts in engineering, automotive, aerospace, and more.

The strengths of BASF Ultrafuse PA filament

Mechanical resistance: Ultrafuse PA has very high mechanical strength and excellent resistance to impacts, wear, and deformation.

High rigidity material: You can print 3D parts and models that are semi-flexible or very rigid depending on the printed part's thickness.

Low melting temperature: The melting temperature of this Ultrafuse PA filament is relatively low, making it printable on many professional 3D printers.

Ultrafuse PA printing tips

Ultrafuse PA filament is a relatively easy-to-print PA6/66 Nylon. You will need a printer capable of extruding filament at a temperature of 220 to 250°C and a heated bed reaching up to 120°C. We recommend using an adhesive to increase Ultrafuse PA's bed adhesion during printing.

Ultrafuse PA filament is very sensitive to moisture, and we advise storing it in a dry box like a Polybox and drying it thoroughly if necessary.
