Using PolySupport Pearl White

The PolySupport™ 3D filament from Polymaker is a material used as a complement to the main build material. This filament has the advantage of allowing support structures to be removed by hand and does not require any chemicals or water compared to PVA and/or BVOH.

PolySupport can be used on single or dual extrusion printers, either as a support material to complement the main filament (dual extrusion), or as both object and support material. In both cases, the support structure is easily removed after printing.

PolySupport: Key Advantages

Excellent alternative to soluble supports: PolySupport™ is easy to print and store. The material is moisture- and heat-resistant and does not require any hazardous chemicals (solvents) to dissolve.

Non-toxic: Previously, soluble materials were recommended to print complex geometry parts.

Our Recommendations for Using PolySupport

Polymaker PolySupport filament prints at an extrusion temperature between 220 and 230°C and a bed temperature between 25 and 60°C, with a recommended speed of 20 to 40mm/s. Using a BuildTak, glue, or tape is recommended to improve bed adhesion.
