Our Recommendations for Ultimaker PLA Magenta

Ultimaker PLA prints at moderate temperatures, typically around 200 to 210°C, depending on the nozzle size and selected print profile. Profiles for 0.25 mm nozzles use slightly lower temperatures, while 0.8 mm profiles require higher temperatures.

For bed adhesion, a 60°C bed temperature is recommended, though PLA can also print on a cold bed using blue painter’s tape. PLA generally adheres well to a heated glass bed, but applying a thin layer of adhesive (such as Magigoo Original) is recommended to improve adhesion.

Ultimaker PLA Magenta has optimized settings for the Ultimaker S5, the Air Manager, and the Material Station. This ensures a smooth printing experience with the Material Station and a secure environment with the Air Manager.
