Ultimaker Black ABS Printing Tips

For Ultimaker ABS, a slightly higher nozzle temperature between 225 and 260 °C is recommended. The exact temperature depends on the nozzle size and profile. Small nozzles and thin layers use lower temperatures, while larger nozzles require higher temperatures.

The bed temperature for Ultimaker ABS ranges between 80 and 90 °C, depending on the printer and nozzle size. Applying a thin layer of adhesive (such as Magigoo Original) is recommended to improve adhesion.

Ultimaker Black ABS has optimized settings for the Ultimaker S5, the Air Manager, and the Material Station. This ensures a smooth printing experience with the Material Station and a safe environment with the Air Manager.
