Ultimaker CPE Blue

Ultimaker's CPE material is ideal when producing parts requiring mechanical properties and good chemical resistance while maintaining ease of printing. This Ultimaker CPE Blue filament has high flexural strength (2100 MPa) and tensile strength (38 MPa).

Similar to PET and PETG materials, Ultimaker CPE is ideal for a wide range of applications:

  • Visual and functional prototyping
  • Small series production
  • Custom components
  • Fit testing
  • Tooling

Ultimaker CPE usage and mechanical properties

Key Features of Ultimaker CPE Filament

Excellent chemical resistance: Ultimaker CPE is a perfect choice for custom mechanical parts requiring chemical resistance.

High strength and dimensional stability: Ultimaker CPE is robust and warp-resistant, ideal for functional prototypes undergoing rigorous testing before production.

High impact resistance: Ultimaker CPE can be used in various scenarios depending on performance needs. Print functional prototypes or custom final parts.

Ultimaker CPE Printing Tips

The recommended nozzle temperature for CPE is between 230 and 260°C. Exact temperature per profile can be found in Ultimaker Cura and depends on the printer, nozzle size, and profile selected. Bed temperature also varies slightly by printer and nozzle size, generally between 70 and 85°C. Applying a thin layer of adhesive (like Magigoo Original) is recommended for better adhesion.

Ultimaker CPE Blue comes with optimized settings for Ultimaker hardware, ensuring a smooth printing experience with the Material Station and a safe environment with the Air Manager.
