PolyLite ASA Red - 1.75mm - 1 kg

Red has a good rendering, I am still in the test phase because the ASA is not the easiest to print. The filament is of very good quality compared to others I could test

PolyLite ASA Black - 1.75mm - 1 kg

Good product, except for warping that is important. I had to go beyond the board heating recommendations and add 3DLAC to counter warping. Apart from that, it's a good filament that gives strong and heat-resistant impressions (what I was looking for).

ASA Filament

ASA filament is a perfect plastic for outdoor applications. It offers similar mechanical properties but with enhanced resistance to outdoor environments. In fact, its main advantage is its UV resistance, making it particularly suitable for outdoor use. It also offers good durability in humid and marine environments. ASA filament spools are excellent products that also perform well in terms of appearance—matte and highly effective in cooling, they have very interesting qualities as 3D printing filament for FDM printers.

Why choose ASA filament?

Like all styrene-based materials, it is prone to warping, but this phenomenon is less pronounced with ASA prints. This is one of the reasons why ASA is often preferred over ABS. The version from the manufacturer ForShape, ASA-X, is even more refined to further minimize this issue and enable large-format printing.
