The PLA Basic Gradient Solar Breeze filament transforms your 3D prints into unique pieces thanks to a continuous color gradient that changes approximately every 8-10 meters.
Compatible with most FDM printers, it maintains the ease of printing of standard PLA while offering excellent layer adhesion and a clean matte finish. Perfect for decorative parts, toys, or visually striking prototypes.

The PLA Basic Gradient Solar Breeze is a creative variation of traditional PLA Basic, designed for makers and 3D printing enthusiasts who want to go beyond a single-color filament. Instead of a uniform hue, this filament creates a smooth transition between two colors, producing a dynamic visual effect directly in the printed object. This chromatic fluidity is not only aesthetic but adds visual interest to complex surfaces and decorative parts, while maintaining the mechanical behavior expected of high-quality PLA.
Performance-wise, this filament follows PLA conventions: it prints at standard temperatures (190–230 °C) on a slightly heated bed (35–45 °C with adhesive) and is compatible with a wide range of FDM machines. The RFID technology integrated into the spool allows supported systems, such as the Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro, to automatically load the correct settings, minimizing configuration errors.
Continuous color gradient: Unlike traditional PLA, Solar Breeze delivers a subtle gradient between two colors over approximately 8 to 10 meters of filament. This ensures successive prints show progressive visual transitions, making each model unique. This effect is particularly striking on long or voluminous parts where the gradient fully expresses itself.
Layer adhesion and mechanical performance: While the visual aspect is the main feature, Solar Breeze does not compromise robustness. Users report layer adhesion is at least equivalent, if not superior to standard PLA Basic, resulting in better Z-impact resistance and reduced risk of delamination. Essential for functional or slightly stressed parts.
Ease of printing and compatibility: Like all PLA Basic series filaments, Solar Breeze is easy to handle. It does not require aggressive heated beds, does not tangle, and is not overly sensitive to humidity when stored properly. With a temperature range of 190–230 °C and speeds up to 300 mm/s, you can accelerate prints or refine details while maintaining a clean, uniform finish.
