Using PolyMax PETG Black

Polymaker's PolyMax PETG Black is an enhanced PETG filament with high mechanical properties. Its heat resistance and ease of printing make it suitable for a wide range of applications.

PolyMax PETG Black: main strengths

High strength: PolyMax PETG Black has higher mechanical strength than standard ABS or PETG, as well as heat resistance up to 80°C.

Quality and reliability: PolyMax PETG Black prints as easily as PLA without warping, shrinkage, or odors.

Dimensional stability: This enhanced PETG from Polymaker features excellent layer adhesion, improving the properties of the printed part.

Our recommendations for using PolyMax PETG

PolyMax PETG Black is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market, available in 1.75 and 2.85mm.

This reinforced PETG should be printed at extrusion temperatures between 230 and 240°C, with bed temperatures between 70 and 80°C. A printing speed between 30 and 50mm/s is recommended.

For optimal adhesion, we recommend using a standard BuildTak or PEI sheet.

Finally, it is recommended to dry the spool at 70°C for 8 hours to completely remove moisture.
