The eco-friendly PolyTerra Dark Army Green filament was developed by Polymaker with a technique called "Fully Bio Compound (FBC)", which is a blend of PLA (a biodegradable polymer made from corn starch, beetroot, and wheat) and organic minerals.
If you are looking for an economical or ecological PLA filament, or both, PolyTerra ™ ️ filament is definitely your first choice. Furthermore, if used as a support material, PolyTerra ™ ️ PLA can be easily removed.
PolyTerra filament is used in simple prototyping or for a finished decoration or accessory.
Great value for money: This filament offers very high quality for over 20€ per kilogram.
Stiffness: PolyTerra Dark Army Green PLA filament has greater stiffness than standard PLA.
Eco-friendliness: Polymaker partners with ONETREEPLANTED to plant a tree for every spool of PolyTerra sold.
Recycled spool: The spool and packaging of PolyTerra Dark Army Green filament are made from 100% recycled materials to respect the environment.
Matte finish: Give your prints a unique look with the matte finish of PolyTerra Dark Army Green.
Food contact compliant: Polymaker PolyTerra complies with RoHS 2011/65/EU, 2015/863 and REACH standards.
PolyTerra Dark Army Green is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market, whether in 1.75mm or 2.85mm.
We recommend setting your printer to an extrusion temperature between 190 and 230°C for optimal printing of PolyTerra Dark Army Green. A print speed of 30 to 70mm/s and using a heated bed between 25 and 60°C are also recommended.
If your printer is equipped with a direct drive extrusion system, the recommended retraction distance is 1mm with a speed of 20mm/s. If your printer uses a Bowden extrusion system, the recommended retraction distance is 3mm with a speed of 40mm/s.
Finally, for food contact compliance, while PolyTerra Dark Army Green complies with the main standards, some printed parts may have cracks or holes that are invisible to the naked eye. Bacteria in general tend to proliferate in these areas.
