After annealing, PET CF stabilizes its heat resistance at around 150ºC, as well as its tensile modulus and tensile strength of more than 6 GPa and 80 MPa, respectively. Compared to carbon fiber reinforced nylon filament, the high printability, dimensional stability, creep resistance, and low moisture absorption make PET CF an ideal choice for reliable carbon fiber composite printing for strong and cost-effective end-use applications such as jigs, fixtures, and functional parts.
Heat resistance: The HDT of this material is about 150ºC after annealing, making it highly suitable for many technical use cases.
High strength and stiffness: Excellent mechanical properties in a material that is still easy to print.
Excellent dimensional stability: PET is a material with low shrinkage and low warpage during printing.
Raise3D Industrial PET CF Black is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market using 1.75 mm filament. Be sure to check your printer diameter to avoid incompatibility. This filament works perfectly with Raise3D printers: Raise3D E3, Raise3D E2, Raise3D E2CF, Raise3D Pro3 and Raise3D Pro3 Plus.
We recommend setting your printer extrusion temperature between 280 and 300°C for optimal conditions. A print speed between 35 and 90 mm/s, the use of an adhesion solution, and a heated bed between 80 and 100°C are also recommended.
