The complete S8 electronics include the motherboard, SOM (System on Module), and Wi-Fi module, delivering exceptional performance with 5 times the processing power of its predecessor. This powerful electronic set is designed to support the new UltiMaker Cheetah motion planner, enabling the printer to operate at enhanced speeds while maintaining optimal precision.
The complete electronics may be necessary in case of persistent startup issues, connectivity problems, or failure to retrieve firmware or printer configuration.
If issues are encountered with motion control, temperature regulation, or if the motherboard is physically damaged, it may be sufficient to replace only the motherboard (reference 80-236938) rather than the complete electronic set.
Note: This electronic set is only compatible with the UltiMaker S8 and is not interchangeable with other models from the brand.
