The PolyLite ABS Green filament developed by Polymaker is a high-quality ABS filament with minimal fine particle (VOC) content to reduce toxicity risks.
Ideal for prototypes or functional parts, this ABS has a glass transition temperature of 100°C, making it suitable for environments requiring heat resistance.
Easy to handle when following recommendations (enclosed chamber, adhesive for bed adhesion...), it enables precise and reliable prints thanks to Polymaker's 8-step quality control.
This Green ABS is perfect for producing parts requiring good mechanical strength and for functional prototyping.
Reduced toxicity: The PolyLite ABS Green 1kg filament emits less odor and fewer VOCs than standard ABS.
Low price: This ABS filament offers excellent value for money considering the technology used.
Excellent print quality: This Polymaker 3D ABS offers excellent mechanical properties, especially in terms of strength. It is among the most impact-resistant materials, behind PolyMax PC and PolyMide CoPA.
PolyLite ABS Green is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market, whether in 1.75mm or 2.85mm.
3D printing with PolyLite ABS Green is done at an extrusion temperature between 245 and 265°C, a heated bed between 90 and 105°C, and a printing speed of 30 to 50mm/s.
We strongly recommend using a closed and filtered enclosure and a professional 3D printer to obtain warp-free parts while ensuring a certain level of safety.
To achieve smooth surface parts, there are two options: manual sanding of the 3D part or the use of acetone, which chemically acts on ABS. Since handling acetone can be dangerous, another alternative method is using PolySmooth with IPA.
This latter method is the one we recommend if you need to obtain functional prototypes with a smooth surface finish.
