Our Usage Recommendations for PolyLite ABS Green 2.85mm

PolyLite ABS Green is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market, whether in 1.75mm or 2.85mm.

3D printing with PolyLite ABS Green is done at an extrusion temperature between 245 and 265°C, a heated bed between 90 and 105°C, and a printing speed of 30 to 50mm/s.

We strongly recommend using a closed and filtered enclosure and a professional 3D printer to obtain warp-free parts while ensuring a certain level of safety.

Post-Processing of PolyLite ABS Green Filament

To achieve smooth surface parts, there are two options: manual sanding of the 3D part or the use of acetone, which chemically acts on ABS. Since handling acetone can be dangerous, another alternative method is using PolySmooth with IPA.

This latter method is the one we recommend if you need to obtain functional prototypes with a smooth surface finish.
