The eco-friendly PLA filament PolyTerra PLA+ White was developed by Polymaker using a technique called "Fully Bio Compound (FBC)", which is a blend of PLA (a biodegradable polymer made from corn, beet, and wheat starch) and organic minerals. This PLA+ version optimizes interlayer adhesion with 27% more layer adhesion and 29% more strength compared to standard PolyTerra.
If you're looking for an affordable or eco-friendly PLA, or both, the PolyTerra™ PLA+ filament is definitely your top choice. Additionally, when used as a support material, PolyTerra™ PLA+ White can be easily removed.
The PolyTerra PLA+ filament is used for simple prototyping up to finished decorative pieces or accessories.
Excellent value for money: This filament offers very high quality for under €20 per kilo.
Strength: The PolyTerra PLA+ White filament has increased mechanical strength and reinforced interlayer adhesion compared to standard PolyTerra.
Eco-friendliness: Manufacturer Polymaker commits to planting a tree for every spool of PolyTerra sold through the ONETREEPLANTED initiative.
Recycled spool: The spool and packaging of the PolyTerra PLA+ White filament are fully recycled for environmental responsibility.
Finish: Give your prints a unique finish with the more satin-like appearance of PolyTerra PLA+ White.
The PolyTerra PLA+ White is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market in both 1.75mm and 2.85mm sizes.
We recommend setting your printer to an extrusion temperature between 190°C and 220°C for optimal printing conditions with PolyTerra PLA+ White. A print speed of 30 to 70mm/s, along with a heated bed temperature between 25°C and 60°C, is also recommended.
If your printer is equipped with a direct drive extrusion system, the recommended retraction distance is 1mm with a retraction speed of 30mm/s. If your printer uses a Bowden extrusion system, the recommended retraction distance is 3mm with a retraction speed of 60mm/s.
